What is AXLEWARD OBD GUARD?
It is a metal guard assembly secured over the 16-pin OBD-II diagnostic socket with product-specific anti-tamper fixings. It creates a physical barrier to direct plug-in access without connecting to the vehicle electronics.
It is not a tracker, alarm, immobiliser, diagnostic device or guarantee against theft. It is one layer in a wider vehicle-security setup.
Will it fit every vehicle?
No. OBD-II connector geometry may be standardised, but location, mounting, trim and clearance vary. Checkout therefore begins with a fit decision for each vehicle.
Confirmed means AXLEWARD holds an approved fitment record for the exact selection. Conditional means the stated physical check must still be completed. Unknown or Unsupported vehicles cannot be purchased through checkout.
Can I buy for more than one car?
Yes. Choose the number of vehicles in checkout, up to five, then assign a checked vehicle to every physical kit. Identical cars may use the same vehicle details; different cars are checked separately.
Delivery and payment remain locked until every kit has an eligible fit result.
What is included in one complete kit?
The planned complete kit contains one metal OBD-II guard assembly, its approved anti-tamper fixing set, matching service tools, a warning decal and a fitting and servicing guide. Final physical contents require approved-sample sign-off before launch.
Any applicable taxes, the fit decision, fit support and tracked delivery to England, Scotland and Wales are included in the displayed price. There is no recurring subscription for OBD GUARD.
Can a garage still use the port?
Yes. Remove the guard with the supplied service tools before diagnostics, servicing or MOT work, then refit it exactly as directed. Keep the service tools secure and outside the vehicle.
Tell the garage that a removable physical cover is fitted. Do not ask anyone to force or work around the lock.
Are key-signal and tracking products included?
No. KEYLESS KIT, CONNECTED GUARD and RECOVERY BACKUP address different security jobs and are not included in the OBD GUARD box.
Eligible customers can choose an optional tracking or key-storage addition after the OBD GUARD payment. Every addition shows its own quantity, full price and payment step before anything is added to the same order.
What does the 30-day Fit Promise cover?
It applies when the order recorded a Confirmed fit, the correct unmodified vehicle was selected, the product was installed as directed and the physical fit decision proves inaccurate.
After verification, you can choose a compatible replacement or refund. The promise concerns fit only and sits alongside, not instead of, your statutory rights.
