On first visit, you can reject optional categories, accept all optional categories, or set analytics and marketing independently. Refusing optional storage does not prevent checkout, order tracking or account access.
Withdrawing analytics or marketing stops new optional processing from this browser and removes the analytics identifier where present. It does not undo lawful processing already completed.
Essential cookies
These are necessary to provide a function you request, protect the order or remember the privacy choice. They are not used for advertising.
- axw_cart - connects the browser to the server-priced guest cart - 2 hours - HttpOnly.
- axw_order_id and axw_order_access - protect the secure primary order view - 2 hours after checkout, or until the server-provided portal expiry after verified email access (currently no more than 30 days) - HttpOnly.
- axw_post_order_id and axw_post_order_access - protect the temporary post-purchase payment session before its paid line is attached to the primary order - 2 hours - HttpOnly.
- axw_account_access - protects the customer account view until the server-provided portal expiry (currently no more than 30 days) - HttpOnly.
- axw_consent - remembers category choices and wording version - 12 months.
- axw_consent_id - pseudonymous reference used to evidence the consent decision - 12 months - HttpOnly.
- The hosted payment frame may use storage strictly necessary for payment security, fraud prevention and a payment method the customer requests. The production provider inventory must be verified before public checkout.
Optional analytics
When analytics is enabled, AXLEWARD records first-party funnel events and Google Analytics 4 may measure pages, checkout stages and webhook-verified purchases. Events are designed to exclude email, phone, postal address, full access tokens, payment data and raw vehicle identifiers.
axw_analytics_id is a pseudonymous HttpOnly identifier lasting up to 12 months. It is created only after analytics consent and removed when analytics is declined. Google Analytics may set _ga and a property-specific _ga_… cookie for up to 12 months under this configuration. These help distinguish browsers and deduplicate measurement; they are not required to buy.
AXLEWARD currently requires a positive analytics choice and does not rely on a statistical-purpose storage exception. Advertising, profiling and cross-site tracking remain off without valid consent.
Session storage and similar technologies
After analytics consent, axw_first_touch_attribution may hold limited campaign parameters in session storage until the browser tab session ends. A temporary axw_purchase_… session entry prevents the same browser tab from reporting the same purchase event twice. These entries are not created for optional analytics when analytics consent is absent.
The application may also use in-memory state, hosted payment frames and browser security features that do not always appear as conventional cookies. We apply the same essential-versus-optional rule according to their purpose.
Optional marketing
Marketing is a separate category. When it is enabled and the production IDs are configured, Meta Pixel may measure visits and funnel actions in the browser and Meta Conversions API may receive the matching event from our server. Browser and server copies share one event ID so Meta can deduplicate them.
Meta receives the event name, event ID, time, page URL, product identifiers, quantity and value where relevant, plus limited browser/network identifiers such as _fbp, _fbc, IP address and user-agent where available. AXLEWARD does not send checkout email, telephone, postal address, access tokens or raw payment data in these events. Meta cookies such as _fbp or _fbc may last up to about 90 days.
Withdrawing marketing consent stops new Pixel and Conversions API dispatch from this browser. Refusing marketing does not prevent checkout, order tracking, support or account access.
Any marketing-email consent offered after purchase is separate from browser storage and can be withdrawn through the message or privacy contact. It is not required to buy.
Browser controls and consequences
You can also block or delete storage in browser settings. Removing essential cart or access cookies can empty the browser cart or require a new one-time email link. It does not cancel an order or erase records we must retain.
Global privacy signals are considered where required, but the on-site preference centre is the authoritative control for optional AXLEWARD categories in this browser.
If we materially change an optional category, purpose or provider, we update the wording version and request a fresh choice where required instead of treating an old choice as consent to a new use.
