When the promise applies
No make, model or year must be entered before payment. The fit guarantee covers a factory standard 16-pin OBD-II socket, mounting, nearby wiring and surrounding trim that have not been modified or relocated.
You must follow the supplied installation instructions and stop rather than force the product if clearance is not correct. Reasonable unpacking and inspection needed to check fit does not by itself invalidate the promise.
- The return is requested within 60 calendar days after delivery.
- The order reference is provided so we can issue the prepaid route.
- The complete product is sent back using the authorised tracked return route.
How to make a fit claim
Open the order in your browser and choose Fitment issue in the returns module, or email support@axleward.co.uk. Give the order reference and describe where fit fails.
You do not need to prove a reason for the 60-day return. For fit support or a product-safety investigation, we may ask for proportionate photographs of the factory socket, mounting and surrounding clearance; remove personal information, number plates, documents and location data first.
Your remedy
For a return requested within the 60-day period, AXLEWARD refunds the full product price paid after the complete kit is received through the authorised route. You may ask about a replacement instead, but accepting one is your choice.
We provide a prepaid tracked return route and pay that return cost. Refund timing follows the Returns page and does not delay any faster statutory remedy that applies.
What the promise does not cover
The fit guarantee does not describe a modified, relocated, damaged, obstructed or non-standard socket area as factory-standard fit. That boundary does not remove the separate 60-day any-reason return promise.
The Fit Promise is not insurance, a product warranty against every fault, or a guarantee that theft cannot occur.
Your legal rights remain
The Fit Promise is an additional commercial promise from MB Helmar. It does not reduce rights or remedies available for faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods, and it does not shorten the time in which those rights may be exercised.
