When the promise applies
The order must record Confirmed fit for the exact make, model, year and generation or variant selected. The factory OBD-II socket, mounting, nearby wiring and surrounding trim must be unmodified.
You must follow the supplied installation instructions and stop rather than force the product if clearance is not correct. Reasonable unpacking and inspection needed to check fit does not by itself invalidate the promise.
- The issue is reported within 30 calendar days after delivery.
- The order reference and requested fit evidence are provided.
- The product has not been altered, forced, dismantled or damaged after delivery.
How to make a fit claim
Open the order in your browser and choose Fitment issue in the returns module, or email support@axleward.co.uk. Give the order reference and describe where fit fails.
We may ask only for proportionate evidence needed to compare the recorded vehicle and installation area, such as photographs of the factory socket, mounting and surrounding clearance. Remove personal information, number plates, documents and location data before sending images.
Your remedy
If the recorded Confirmed decision was inaccurate, you choose either a compatible replacement supplied without an additional product or standard-delivery charge, or a refund for the affected kit.
We review a complete claim without unreasonable delay and explain the outcome. We provide the authorised return instructions. Where we require the original item back for a valid claim, AXLEWARD pays the reasonable return cost using the route we provide.
What the promise does not cover
Conditional, Unknown and Unsupported results are not Confirmed decisions. Incorrect vehicle details, relocated sockets, aftermarket trim or wiring, damage caused by forcing installation, loss of the service tool and cosmetic preference are outside this commercial promise.
The Fit Promise is about physical compatibility. It is not insurance, a product warranty against every fault, or a guarantee that theft cannot occur.
Your legal rights remain
The Fit Promise is an additional commercial promise from MB Helmar. It does not reduce rights or remedies available for faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods, and it does not shorten the time in which those rights may be exercised.
